UNLEASH YOUR GREATNESS: Kyani Philippines Leaders’ Night for August

Kyani Philippines held another spectacular Leaders’ Night this August with the theme “Unleash Your Greatness.” Paul Haacke, Vice President for Asia and the Pacific was the evening’s special guest. He shared a touching story on coaching little league football which for him went beyond just winning games to developing young boys into future leaders.  Paul linked this to how the Kyani founders led by example with their own hard work and innovation, and inspired others to unleash their own greatness so other lives can be blessed. Paul said, a great coach and leader is one who shows his team the way, encouraging them and not allowing them to quit.  He urged Business Partners to go all out and lead while continuing the mission of giving hope through Kyani.  GM Kate Bellosillo engaged Paul in a heartwarming conversation where they talked a bit more about the leadership styles of founders Kirk Hansen and Carl Taylor.

After Paul’s heartfelt and inspiring talk, Kyani Philippines leaders gave their insights on the traits of Leadership. Diamond Naty Tenorio spoke about decisiveness. She started as a happy user of the Kyani products because her whole family experienced the benefits for themselves.  This inspired her to start sharing the products with more people, eventually reaching Diamond rank.  Outside of Kyani, Naty had been operating a Kumon Center for about 20 years.  Just recently, she made a major decision to give that up in order to focus on her Kyani business.  She explained that she sees Kyani as the means to realize a greater dream to start a foundation that will help poor children.

Diamond Bong Escobido said he was attracted by the compassion, humility and genuine love for people that the owners had. He recalled Kirk saying he would do whatever it takes to make sure that everything needed by Business Partners was in place. For Bong, doing things in a great way was Kirk’s commitment to excellence that served as a solid foundation for building strong and long-term relationships.

As one of the top pediatric nephrologists in the country, Diamond Mike Manalaysay was happy to find out the Kyani products were science-based.   He immediately took the products and was delighted to   experience their benefits.  He joined Kyani a few years ago, but it was only last year that he made the decision to become a serious business builder.  His steadfast commitment resulted in reaching the Diamond rank.  As a Kyani leader, Dr.  Mike values integrity.  He urged everyone to be honest and sincere in their business practice in order to build the trust of others.  Simply put, he says integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

New Blue Diamond Antonio “Dodo” Luag revealed his vision of creating more Diamonds and helping more members of his cooperative become Dream Car qualifiers.  Dodo said that his style of leadership is stewardship or servant leadership.  In serving others, he helps them realize their dreams and aspirations, inspiring them and giving them hope to achieve better lives for themselves.  Dodo reminded everyone to remain humble and focus on adding value to the lives of others.

Rank achievers and Top Global Performers were recognized during the program, including new Diamonds Anita Corto and Dario Medallo.

The evening ended on a high note. As GM Kate said, “It was truly a night of celebration, learning, leadership and inspiration.”
