ห้องสมุดไคอานี่ แคริ่ง แฮนด์ส แห่งใหม่ 30 ห้องพร้อมการเข้าถึงแบบเสมือน (virtual access) ได้ถูกสร้างขึ้นในเชียปัส ประเทศเม็กซิโก ตอนนี้ห้องสมุดเหล่านี้ให้บริการนักเรียนจากโครงการแคริ่ง แฮนด์สประมาณ 4,000 คนโดยมีหนังสือมากกว่า 1,500 เล่มในแต่ละห้องสมุด!

30 new Kyäni Caring Hands libraries with virtual access have been built in Chiapas, Mexico. Now a total of 36 libraries are servicing around 4,000 Caring Hands students with over 1,500 books available in each library!
Libraries having virtual access is especially important given the current global pandemic. With Wifi access available up to 450ft away from the library, our students are able to access the tools necessary to continue their education while remaining socially distanced. Our libraries are catered to Chiapas’ wide range of indigenous languages spoken throughout the region. In Chiapas, 12 indigenous Mayan languages are spoken. 23 out of the 30 new libraries are located in communities where Tsotsil and Tzeltal are the primary language with Spanish being the secondary language. Over 150 students are participating in these university programs, and those who have graduated are bringing both hope and prosperity to their communities by starting businesses, employing local people, and supporting their hometowns.
